When the St. Louis Rams selected Stedman Bailey in the third round of this pas spring NFL Draft, some Rams fans were left scratching their heads. The Rams had already taken one under-sized wide receiver in the draft in Tavon Austin, who the team selected No. 8 overall in the first round. Fans wondered why the Rams would need another wide receiver. As it turns out, Bailey looked like a good value and was highly productive opposite Austin in college and it could be a dynamic duo in the NFL. At this point, that wishful thinking may be on hold as Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch pointed out, Bailey is currently No. 5 on the Rams wide receiving depth chart. But do not expect that to last for very long. Bailey, much like Austin, has been a very productive player throughout his collegiate career and has done nothing but excel in every situation.
