HOUSTON (AP) -- Arian Foster had two touchdown runs, Matt Schaub threw a TD pass to Andre Johnson, and Houston's defense dominated rookie Ryan Tannehill and Miami in the Texans' 30-10 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.
Tannehill threw three interceptions in a stunning 6-minute stretch late in the first half, and the Texans opened impressively in what they believe can be a Super Bowl season.
Schaub threw for 266 yards in his first action since fracturing his right foot in Week 10 last year, and Johnson finished with 119 yards receiving. Texans defensive end J.J. Watt deflected two passes that resulted in interceptions and also had 1 sacks.
Marcus Thigpen returned a punt 72 yards for Miami's touchdown. The Dolphins gained only 275 total yards.

Can Dolphins Pull Off the Upset?
In the NFL debut of Coach Joe Philbin and quarterback Ryan Tannehill, the Dolphins hardly could have drawn a tougher assignment than the Houston Texans — on the road no less. Houston is considered by most one of the favorites in the AFC in 2012 and the Dolphins will go into this game as the biggest underdogs on opening day. But is a victory impossible? Stranger things have happened.
Watt is Tannehill's Daddy
One went to Wisconsin and another went to Texas A&M. Miami Dolphins vs. Houston Texans: Hero and Zero of the Game
The Houston Texans routed the Miami Dolphins 30-10 in NFL week 1 action. Although, no one stood out with a memorable individual performance the Texans overcame a slow start. The Miami Dolphins played well in...

Arian Foster to Miami CB: 'I don't know you'
During halftime of Monday Night Football, ESPN ran a new segment called “Soundtracks”, featuring sound bites from the games earlier in the week. Jeff Ireland is on the hot seat following Dolphins 30-10 blowout Sunday
The Miami Dolphins were almost 2 touchdown underdogs against the Texans on Sunday. Judging by the final score, the Dolphins should’ve been 3 touchdown underdogs. Arian Foster Likely To Play Against Miami
It has been a week filled with nervousness for fantasy footballers who own Arian Foster (trust me I am one of them) but there is some good news on the Foster front today as the ESPN.com's Adam Schefter is reporting that the Houston Texans running back is expected to play Sunday against the Dolphins as long as he gets through pre-game warmups ok.

Houston Texans: Why Fans Should Stop Trying to Trade Ben Tate
For the entire summer, a topic that seemed to come up a lot among Texans fans was the idea of trading running back Ben Tate, who almost rushed for 1,000 yards in a backup role last year. Most state the reason because they will lose him for nothing in a couple of years anyway, due to being stuck behind Arian Foster.
On paper, that sounds true, but one has to remember that Tate was...
Houston Texans Only AFC South Team to Post a Win
It's good news/bad news for the Indianapolis Colts after week one of the 2012 season. The bad news is that they dropped a 41-21 decision to the Chicago Bears. The good news is that only one of their divisional rivals, the Houston Texans, scored a victory on Sunday.
Houston stumbled out of the gate against the Miami Dolphins, trailing 3-0 after the first quarter. Then...
