Last night was a classic tale of a football team beating themselves.  The Philadelphia Eagles looked like the better team, offensively (for most of the night), but turnovers will kill you.  First Damaris Johnson muffs a punt and the Chiefs recover and turn it into 3 points, then Michael Vick follows that up with a Pick Six and the Chiefs jump out to a QUICK 10-0 lead.  The Eagles respond with a beautiful drive that lasted less then 2 minutes thanks to a 61 yard run by Mike Vick and a 22 yard TD pass to Jason Avant.  83 yards on 2 plays, that's what Philly DO!  Oh, but then the center decided to snap the ball off his own ass while Vick was set up in shotgun and the Chiefs recovered, and pick up 3 more points and then Vick gets sack fumbled and Ryan Succop kicks his 3rd FG of the 1st half.  Kansas City led 16-6 at half time but it was LeSean McCoy and his injury scare that was all the talk during the intermission.  Vick would throw one more interception in the second half that sealed the deal for the Chiefs.  A 3 yard Jamaal Charles TD run and Succop's 4th FG of the game gave the Chiefs a 10 point victory.  McCoy left the field under his own power, but not after rolling around on the ground for a couple of agonizing minutes in what seemed like a season ending knee injury.  After the game, Shady said he just had an ankle sprain and he put on a second half show capped off with a 41 yard TD run.  He finished the night with 158 rushing yards on 20 handoffs.  Michael Vick completed just 13 of his 30 pass attempts for 201 yards.  Had it not been for that 61 yard rush, Vick would have had a miserable fantasy night.  He was also sacked 5 times!DeSean Jackson was nowhere to be found last night catching just 3 passes for 62 yards on 7 targets.  Instead, it was all about Jason Avant who caught the Eagles only TD and had 5 receptions for 87 yards on 8 targets.  Riley Cooper also got 7 targets but caught 2 passes for 29 yards.  Brent Celek had an even worse night with 2 catches for 18 yards on 5 targets.  On the winning team, Alex Smith was only slightly better, even though the stats look much better.  Smith completed 22 of his 35 pass attempts for 273 yards but failed to throw a TD and was also sacked 5 times.  The Chiefs offense is hard to understand as Alex Smith is not really design to run bootlegs on every drive, right?  He had 10 rushes for 33 yards!  Any who, Jamaal Charles and Donnie Avery were the stars for KC with 7 catches each.  Charles led the team with 8 targets but it was Avery who had 141 receiving yards!  Add him to your roster if he is available!  You know that guy Dwayne Bowe?  Yeah, he had just 1 catch for 4 yards and 3 targets.Charles rushed for 92 yards on 20 handoffs, add that to his 80 receiving yards and his TD and you can say he had pretty good fantasy night!  Jamaal was also seen limping off the field at one point, and I nearly had a heart attack!Justin Houston led the Chiefs defense upfront with 3.5 sacks and you can bet that EVERYONE will be going after this KC defense on waivers this week, if they aren't already owned in your league! What did you take away from Thursday Night?
