The Seattle Seahawks almost didn’t get a chance to stop the clock before the half to kick a field goal because a referee bobbled the ball trying to spot it. Seahawks kicker Steven Hauschka is sidelined with a concussion after getting leveled during a kick return, so punter John Ryan was taking the kick. Ryan is normally the holder, so the ball was bobbled and never set down. The holder then ran and tried to throw the ball when Tennessee stripped it and Devin McCourty returned it for the touchdown. Just ridiculous.
Here’s a GIF of Hauscka getting leveled.

According to Liz Mathews of 710 ESPN in Seattle, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll indicated to reporters that wide receiver Percy Harvin will be back on the field soon.
Carroll said TE Zach Miller will be back next week for sure and WR Percy Harvin is “just around the corner.”

The Seattle Seahawks beat the Tennessee Titans 20-13 to move to a 5-1 record on the season, and protect their top spot in the division. But the score doesn't really tell the tale of just how strange the game really was. The Seahawks and Titans game looked something like an old film reel of the Harlem Globetrotters as the entire game was filled with laughable mistakes by both...
Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Monday he’s “encouraged” by Percy Harvin‘s progress and the wide receiver’s return is “just around the corner.” The 25-year-old Harvin underwent the knife to fix a tear in his hip labrum on August 1 and was placed on the reserve/PUP list later that month. Acquired from the Minnesota Vikings in March, Harvin is ahead of schedule...
Pete Carroll understood that from the outside, the Seahawks' win looked pretty ugly.
Whether it was the careless ball security or the Seahawks being unable to pull away until late, there wasn't much aesthetically impressive about Seattle's 20-13 victory over Tennessee on Sunday.
But within the Seahawks' 11th straight home victory, Carroll was encouraged by a better...
You would think that being a part of one of the best teams in the NFL would be the greatest thing ever--especially for the kickers, the placekicker and the punter. You only have to actually do something for just a few plays every game, you get played really well, and if all goes according to plan no one ever touches you.
However, sometimes things don't always go according...
The Seattle Seahawks eked out a win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday despite many errors on the field. After the game Seattle cornerback Walter Thurmond made only one mistake, he didn’t fashion himself with a cane to compliment his throwback ensemble. Dressed fresh to death like it was 1899, Thurmond rocked an olde time suit, complete with pocket watch and top hat. Ladies and...
There is no real way to describe this play. The Seahawks have their backup holder and kicker out for a field goal attempt, they dropped the snap and cue the clown music. It all resulted in Jason McCourty returning the ball for a touchdown. Of course he hit the Terio because what else could you do after a crazy play like that.
The Seattle Seahawks are 5-1, and life could be a lot worse for NFL football in the Emerald City. Still, it has been an interesting season. Seattle is proving to be a talented and exciting team on the field, but there is one unsettling reality.Seattle continues to win ugly.In this case, the word "ugly" means that Seattle is not exactly dominating teams from start to finish...
Tired of the comical errors, Marshawn Lynch and Richard Sherman did all the right things and the Seattle Seahawks remained perfect at home.
Lynch ran for two touchdowns and had 155 all-purpose yards, Sherman got his third interception of the season early in the fourth quarter, and the Seahawks finally shook the Tennessee Titans for a 20-13 victory.

Marshawn Lynch ran for two touchdowns and had 155 all-purpose yards, Richard Sherman came up with his third interception of the season, and the Seattle Seahawks finally shook the Tennessee Titans in the fourth quarter for a 20-13 victory.
Seattle (5-1) won its 11th straight at home despite a long list of mistakes that allowed the Titans (3-3) to hang around into the fourth quarter...

The Injury Bowl
Having finished their two game road trip, the Seattle Seahawks will play at Century Link on Sunday to wrap up their fourth straight game against an opponent from the AFC South.
Both the Seahawks and Titans are coming off of a loss, and enter Sunday with the hope of getting back into the win column.
Jake Locker’s return to Washington will have to wait.
The Seattle Seahawks’ 12th man had the glory of being the loudest fans on Earth, but it didn’t last long.
On September 15th the Hawks Nest hosted the 49ers with the Guinness Book of World Records present, with intentions of setting the world record for the loudest crowd. They ended up setting the world record at 131.6 decibels, only to break it themselves in the third quarter...
Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is active for the teams Week 6 game against the Tennessee Titans.
Lynch has been dealing with a hip injury but his status for the game against the Titans was never truly in question.
Though five games this season Lynch has 410 yards rushing and three touchdowns. He is averaging 4.3 yards per carry. Lynch has a good match-up this week against...
The NFL has officially caught the fashion-bug, more players are taking risks with their personal style. This past Sunday Houston Texans RB Arian Foster, and Seattle Seahawks CB Walter Thurmond III made some pretty bold fashion statements. Check them out below.
Arian Foster addressed the media after a Texans loss wearing a chic plaid newsboy hat he coordinated with a green turtleneck...
