PLAYERS: Tony Romo
TEAMS: Dallas Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo competed at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and and ended up losing the lead in the final day of the tournament with his partner Jordan Spieth. Romo and Spieth shot a 68, but ended up falling short to the teams of Brandt Snedeker-Toby Wilt and Michael Letzig-John Erickson. It looks like Romo has a hard time closing out golf tournaments the way he does NFL games.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })();

  • Get off Tony's back. He has nothing around him on the Cowboy team to support all his efforts..last year he les than 3 seconds to get a pss off before he was smothered by defense. No QB can be a play off contender with that stat

Should The Cowboys Draft A Successor To Tony Romo?

Tony Romo has always had his share of critics, but now even some Romo supporters are starting to face the reality that it may be time for Dallas to bring in another quarterback who’s capable of taking over the reins of Dallas’ offense.  Romo will turn 33 in a couple of months, and the Cowboys haven’t drafted a quarterback since taking Stephen McGee (now with Texans) in 2009...

Assessing and Addressing the Dallas Cowboys Needs Part 1 – Offensive Line

8-8. I have nightmares about 8-8. For the third time since 2008, the Cowboys needed one more win to make the playoffs, and instead they met their downfall at the hands of a division rival. Each rival, the Giants, Eagles and Redskins, have now had the pleasure of keeping Dallas out of the playoffs. So, [...] Related posts: The Dallas Cowboys Select… Cowboys Draft Review Dallas...

Rob Ryan says he was shocked the Cowboys fired him

New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan admits he was shocked that the Cowboys fired him after only one season. “Oh yeah, look, I was a little shocked,” Ryan said, per ESPNDallas.com. “I knew they had to do something after an 8-8 season. They choose me to be the guy, sure.” I was also shocked.  I thought Ryan did a pretty good job for his first season with a new...

Tony Romo and partner in contention at Pebble Beach

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has a history of being a solid golf player. Prior to becoming the starting quarterback of the Cowboys there were some who thought Romo might have made a career in golf. This weekend at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am the team of Romo and PGA player Jordan Speith are currently in the top-10. “It was good to kind of get it going a little bit,” Romo...

Rob Ryan keeps up family tradition of oversell, under-deliver

family tradition Rob Ryan was fired by the Dallas Cowboys after a second consecutive 8-8 season, and after another year of his defense being incapable of holding onto a lead when handed to them. Of course, he considers himself a scapegoat and is (genuinely, I believe) shocked that Jerry Jones gave him the boot, according to Dan Hanzus of ESPN: “Oh yeah, look, I was a little shocked...

Dallas Cowboys: 5 Free Agents They Should Target This Offseason

On paper, the Dallas Cowboys may be as talented as any team in the NFL – unfortunately for Big D, football stopped being played on paper in the 1700s.Despite what critics might tell you, the Dallas Cowboys’ problems do not begin and end with Tony Romo. Even in one of his lesser statistical seasons, Romo still threw for nearly 5,000 yards, had a completion percentage of 65, tossed...
