MisterIrrelevant.com Most NFL players kick back with some umbrella drinks and a lei while they wait to play in the Pro Bowl. Not Washington Redskins offensive tackle Trent Williams; he gets clocked with a champagne bottle and Tasered in a bar fight. According to the Honolulu Police Dept (via PFT), a huge bar fight breaks out. Somebody gets their ass kicked, and it’s the giant-size NFL player who is the victim.: “At 1:30 a.m. this morning, Honolulu Police Department (HPD) officers responded to a report of a large affray at a night club in central Honolulu. Three males were injured during the affray. Two were treated and released from the hospital, and the third male declined treatment. “One male was arrested for Assault in the 3rd Degree and additional arrests are likely. The HPD has opened an Assault 2nd and four Assault 3rd investigations. The investigation into these offenses continue.” Williams is 6’5″ and 325 pounds. Who the hell bashes a guy that big with a champagne bottle and then Tasers him? Is Terry Funk in Honolulu? And how weren’t other players involved? It’s hard to believe that Williams would head out to a club on his own with so many other players on the island for Sunday’s annual exercise in matador defense. Williams will miss the Pro Bowl due to his injuries, but he will do the walk of shame and stand on the sidelines in his jersey (and maybe an icepack on his noggin). Vikings lineman Matt Kalil was named to replace Williams. If these guys had any sense, they’d be checking out the zillion NFL cheerleaders in Hawaii for the game. Filed under: Football, NFL
