Vikings Training Camp Tight End Battle
The Vikings tight ends are probably one of the more mundane battles in camp this year as the top three guys Rudolph, Carlson, and Ellison should all be givens to make the final 53. The only thing that would spice this battle up would be if the Vikings keep a fourth tight end like last season or there is an injury in camp, and no one wants to see that happen.

Kyle Rudolph, John Carlson, Rhett Ellison
Breakdown: Kyle Rudolph is a budding star at the position and is one of the better red zone targets in the league so obviously he’s staying. John Carlson was a free agent bust last year but if he can stay healthy he can be a big time receiving threat. Ellison proved to be a versatile blocker and pass catcher in the H-back role last season and should only be better in year two.
