I’ve been a fan of Bill Squire’s from a distance for a while. I heard him for the first time on Opie and Anthony and then started following him online. If you want to check out his stuff I recommend his Youtube page highly. It’s not necessarily up to the “family-friendly” standards of WFNY, but hey it’s comedy, right? Plus, who doesn’t want to watch Santa Claus do stand-up throwing condoms out to the audience before saying, “I’m sick of your kids.” You can follow Bill on Twitter, and also check out his website for details on his monthly comedy show at Market Garden Brewery. Topics we touched on… Doing comedy in Cleveland The Browns and the new stadium name The Alan Cox Show Getting kicked out of the Mormon mission The Browns coaching search Winning now vs. winning later Getting stood up by Chuck Booms Radio Wars   Listen at Stitcher —————- Subscribe on iTunes

Cleveland Browns offense, who is worth bringing back?

A new regime means that were not going to evaluate all the players from the 2012 season, instead we will evaluate who we want to bring back in 2013. Quarterback: 1. Brandon Weeden- 297/514 57.4% 3385 YDS 14 TD 17 INT 72.6 QBR That line is pretty good for a rookie. We have to ignore that rookies have torn the NFL apart the last few seasons.  Weeden looks great at times and totally...

Cleveland Browns lead AFC North in dropped passes for 2012

For the second year in a row, the Cleveland Browns led the AFC North in dropped passes, allowing 27 catchable passes to hit the ground. The silver lining: According to ESPN Stats & Information, the Browns were the only team in the division whose drops decreased from the previous season with the team dropping 33 balls in 2011. Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green led all...

Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam says they have notified the NFL of a possible uniform change since it’s a two-year process. Hey Mike Holmgren You May Be Listening,But No Teams Want To Hire You. Why Do You Think That Is?

Mike Holmgren the guy the Cleveland Browns new ownership couldn’t get rid of fast enough, is still unemployed. Gee  Mike, what do you suppose that is all about? Holmgren came to Cleveland and did very little to turn the Browns into a winning franchise. Even after he milked the former Browns owner Randy Learner out of close to 40 million dollars the Browns still finished the 2012...

Cleveland Browns will “look” into uniform changes, say no to cheerleaders

While the Cleveland Browns officially entered a new chapter of team history by unveiling the sale of the naming rights to Cleveland Browns Stadium to FirstEnergy, team owner Jimmy Haslam III stated that the team will also “look into” changes to the team’s uniform. Due to the glacial pace of legalese-clad updates to anything in the NFL, the team has filed the requisite paperwork...

Cleveland Browns Are Considering Changing Their Uniforms

I actually like the Browns uniforms. They are classics. Makes you think about a time when the NFL was rugged, but alas they are thinking about making a change according to Pro Football Zone. Haslam: Uniforms in NFL is 2 yr process We’ve notified NFL we want to look at it. No sooner than 2014. — Tony Grossi (@TonyGrossi) January 15, 2013

Browns Hire Norv Turner As Offensive Coordinator

The Cleveland Browns have officially announced the hiring of Norv Turner as their offensive coordinator. WFNY Podcast – 2013-01-17 – Craig and TD talking Browns

I honestly can’t remember much of what TD and I discussed, but we did it for an hour. We must have talked about something. I think it was related to the Browns. I decided to skim through it so I could give you a good summary, so here’s what we talked about… Watching big games… alone or with a big party? Penultimate vs. Ultimate (hint: penultimate is the second to last...
