Even though Smith tore his ACL in October of 2012, he had played well for the Packers in 9 starts and was even touted as being one of the most underrated players on the defense. This move is kind of shocking but also may spell worries for Smith’s knee and it’s possible that he’s dealing with complications coming back...

Lovie Smith, 4-3 Defense Not Right for Packers
Lovie Smith and the 4-3 defense for the Packers? I don’t think so.

Saturday’s postseason loss to the San Francisco 49ers was the anvil that broke the camel’s back after a 2011 season of defensive agony, despite their overall improvement in 2012...
DJ Smith Needs to Tackle His Way into Starting ILB Job
D.J. Smith needs to show he's a better tackler than A.J. Hawk to win the starting job.

Why? Because what Smith has to do to win the job is simple.
He needs to tackle.
If I’m D.J. Smith, I wouldn’t even wait until...
