According to the Washington Post, the Redskins haven’t made an effort to sign free agent offensive tackle Eric Winston this offseason.
The Redskins had some interest last offseason when he was a free agent, but he signed with Kansas City. They didn’t make an effort to sign him this season, our sources say, and yes, price tag does seem to have a lot to do with it.
The Miami Dolphins reportedly have been talking with Eric Winston. They were also in the mix to trade with the Chiefs for Branden Albert.
According to Adam Beasley, the Miami Dolphins are still talking with free agent offensive tackle Eric Winston.

Despite a report that the Dallas Cowboys are working on signing free agent Eric Winston, Bryan Broaddus of DallasCowboys.com says the report is not true.

According to Dov Kleiman of Rant Sports, the Miami Dolphins have been in contact with the Eric Winston’s agent. he was just released by the Chiefs last week.
Winston has only played right tackle during his NFL career. You have to wonder though if the Dolphins are looking at him as a replacement for Jake Long, who could be leaving in free agency.
