Cowboys Restructure QB Kyle Orton’s Contract, Still Expected To Cut A Player
According to Calvin Watkins of ESPN, the Cowboys have restructured QB Kyle Orton‘s contract.
Watkins mentions that Cowboys will still need to release one player before they can officially sign LB Justin Durant and DB Will Allen, who both have agreed to terms in the past few days.
Orton, 30, is considered one of the better backups in the league right now after previously playing...
Dallas Cowboys: Kyle Orton Brings Drama To Big D
Yes, J.R. Ewing brought his drama back to Dallas this season on TNT. Still, I don't think it will match the drama coming out of Cowboys Stadium this year. Why?
Kyle Orton specializes in drama and he is the new backup quarterback to Tony Romo.
You may remember Orton got caught up in the "Guiding Tebow Light" drama last season with the Denver Broncos.
After a mediocre...
Kyle Orton Passed Out with Some Ladies
This beard gets weird T...
Last summer, Kyle Orton was competing to secure Denver’s starting quarterback position — This summer, the neck bearded QB is sitting pretty as the Cowboys # 2 QB behind Tony Romo — Check out Orton passed out on the 4th of July — It’s hard to tell by looking at his mug and neck beard, but Kyle Orton is a real badass. -TO

Kyle Orton Is Drinking Publicly – Again
And here we thought Kyle Orton had given up the bottle for good. A trained spotter at Sandestin Village, a resort in Destin, Fla., snapped a shot on July 4 of the Dallas Cowboys QB keeping company with a bottle. Maybe it was a non-alcoholic brew. Yeah, not likely. What does this mean for the Internet? What does this mean for Dallas bars after tough losses?
This could get good.
Seriously...
Kyle Orton unhappy being a backup with Dallas Cowboys?
The Dallas Cowboys were in serious need of a backup quarterback for Tony Romo this season and quickly moved to sign Kyle Orton this offseason. Orton comes with a distinguished resume and was perhaps one of the best quarterbacks the Cowboys could have chosen this year. Dallas inked the 29-year old former starting quarterback to a handsome 3-year deal worth nearly $11 million dollars...
TONY WHO?
Orton won't commit to backup role
Kyle Orton, the presumed clipboard holder for the Cowboys, said he isn't committing himself to be a backup but instead is committing himself to being part of the team.
Orton: Cowboys 'fit for what I was looking for'
Kyle Orton says he had opportunities to compete for the starting quarterback job with a few NFL teams but chose the Cowboys because they were the best fit.
Orton, who has started 69 games during his seven-year career, said he's at a point where he prefers to play behind Tony Romo while getting "a chance to be in the playoffs."
"It just fit for what I was looking...

Orton Hears a Boo, Laughs Last: No ‘Tebow Time’ in Playoffs
Jerry Brukheimer couldn’t have written a better script than this. Little did the NFL schedulers know that when they put the Denver Broncos at home against the Kansas City Chiefs on New Year’s Day that they would be producing a box office bonanza, full of drama, that would even make Hollywood blush. First, you have the protagonist, Tim Tebow. Tebow is the hero of the story...

Ortoning is the new Tebowing
Follow @ortoning on TwitterFirst there was planking, then there was Tebowing,Added to the list of fads the Internet's been growing,Inspired by Tebow's prayer, it's frequency increased,But what about the player the Broncos released,Ortoning is looking really sad,Ortoning is when you realize that you are bad,Ortoning is watching someone new,Doing something better than you...
Orton comes though for Chiefs in first start
KANSAS CITY, Mo. It's common practice across the NFL to bring the starting quarterback to the podium for a weekly news conference. It often beats the alternative: A bunch of reporters and cameramen crowded around his locker.
Kyle Orton's never been a podium-type guy.
The Kansas City quarterback would rather hang out in the locker room while someone else gets the spotlight...
