NICK HARDWICK RUMORS

Nick Hardwick retires after 11 seasons on Chargers' offensive line

In announcing his retirement after 11 seasons of anchoring the San Diego Chargers' offensive line, Nick Hardwick held it together better than the quarterback and coach he's leaving behind. Hardwick got misty eyed a few times during a news conference Tuesday, but otherwise enjoyed the chance to say goodbye. "I'm incredibly proud and grateful that I get to have a moment," said Hardwick...

Ex-San Diego Chargers C Nick Hardwick has lost almost 100 pounds in five months

Longtime San Diego Chargers center Nick Hardwick announced his retirement from the NFL Tuesday morning. While his presser was very nice, and well attended, the most shocking development wasn’t anything Hardwick said. It was how he looked. So Nick Hardwick now weighs less than me. I'd say he probably decided to retire before this week. (h/t @Chargers) pic.twitter.com/yh4DvhHkgO...

They act as the quarterback of the offensive line, call out blocking assignments and need to have a strong relationship with the men they’re snapping the ball to.  None of this is more magnified in San Diego where Nick Hardwick has been snapping footballs to Philip Rivers...
