Who’s to Blame For Columbus Blue Jackets Mess Part 2

When I wrote Part 1 of my 2-part article outlining the ills that plague the Columbus Blue Jackets, they possessed the worst record in the National Hockey League (NHL) with a record of 0-6-1.  Since Part 1 was written, the Blue Jackets have descended to even lower depths, with a record of 2-12-1.  While the Blue Jackets did win two games since that point, more recently...

Rookie Johansen coming up with clutch goals

Ryan Johansen was a healthy scratch Thursday, watching from the press box as the Blue Jackets absorbed their latest lopsided beating, a 6-3 loss to Chicago. It didn't make much sense then, and it made less sense on Saturday. Johansen, a 19-year-old rookie, scored both goals in a 2-1 Blue Jackets win over the Winnipeg Jets in Nationwide Arena, his fourth and fifth goals on the...

AHL player Dane Byers breaks down after fight, wants Trevor Gillies

You never know what you’re going to get when you go to an AHL game. Maybe you see a scrub who was placed on waivers or sent down, or a rehabilitating top two forward. Or, maybe, you’ll just witness an act of utter embarrassment by some guy you probably never heard of. If you’ve never heard of Dane Byers, it’s because he’s played in all of six NHL games in his...

Todd Cordell: Should the Devils make a pitch for Brassard? Devils need ZP + other notes

Here are some thoughts/notes/stats for you all to enjoy on this Sunday. - I'm not suggesting the Devils are in talks with the Blue Jackets regarding Derrick Brassard, but I think it could be a good idea to make a call. He's really struggling with the Blue Jackets right now and was a healthy scratch last night. Considering he has a $3.2M cap hit and is struggling he could...

The lowly Columbus Blue Jackets will try to post consecutive wins for the first time this season when they host the Minnesota Wild for tonight's clash at Nationwide Arena.

What channel is the game on tonight for Time Warner?

I am showing the Blue Jackets game on the standard and HD channels for TW @ 7:00. UC is also supposed to play on FSN at the same time. Does anyone know if there are alternate channels that game will be televised on? I can't find any.
