NHL.com announced on Thursday the New York Rangers in conjunction with the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation launched the third year of their special indoor youth hockey clinic. Over the next several weeks, children will be offered a series of free street hockey sessions at area recreation centers, offering kids the opportunity to play the game while learning about the importance of exercising. The program started in 2010 with 650 children and has expanded to involve 2,500 participants at 50 different  location. Rangers legend Adam Graves was on hand for the announcement. The weekly clinics will begin in December throughout the NYC area. Registration for the free clinics is open and runs through Nov. 30.
