This morning John Tortorella briefly spoke with the media and said this about his team's chances in Game 3 tonight (via Washington Post)... “I think we’re close, I’ll put it to you that way. But it means squat if you don’t win. “I think [the games have] been a hell of a lot more even than a lot of other people think,” Tortorella said. “But it really doesn’t matter. We need to win a game. It doesn’t matter what’s happened in the other two, we need to win a game and that’s all we’re thinking about.” ...close to what, winning or finally scoring? Because, in case Torts forgot, his team has to find the back of the net in order to claim victory. ...and I completely disagree with Torts' assessment that the games have been played evenly. Sure the scores have been close, but if not for Lundqvist, the Rangers are blown out of both games. The Capitals have been much more aggressive and physical than the passive Blueshirts so far. Hoping that Clowe and the Garden crowd help change that tonight. Remember to follow me on Twitter & Facebook or e-mail me at nyrfan94@yahoo.com.
