SAINT PAULMINNEAPOLIS, Minn. Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher announced the team has reassigned right wing Brett Bulmer to the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL.
Bulmer, 19, recorded three assists, six penalty minutes (PIM) and a plus-1 rating in nine games with Minnesota this season. The 6-foot-3, 196-pound native of Prince George, British Columbia, made his NHL debut in the Wild season opener on Oct. 8 against Columbus, and registered his first NHL point on Oct. 10 at the New York Islanders.
Bulmer recorded 49 points (18-31=49) and 109 PIM in 57 games with Kelowna last season, and also skated in eight playoff games with the Houston Aeros. He was selected by Minnesota in the second round (No. 39) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
