The Vancouver Canucks have already put themselves on the brink of elimination with a blowout loss to the San Jose Sharks on Sunday night. They are currently trailing 3-0 in the series, but things didn’t always look so grim.
During Game 2 on Friday night, Vancouver fans briefly had their spirits lifted when Ryan Kesler scored in the third period to tie the game. Prior to that, the...

Ryan Kesler practices with team, could play tomorrow
Kesler back this Friday?
All signs are pointing towards it, the coach thinks he’s ready, he’s been cleared medically to play, but without confirmation from Ryan Kesler himself we can’t be 100% sure, but as of this morning it certainly appear that the Canucks Kesler could be ready to return to action tomorrow.
Kes spent the lockout recovering from two offseason surgeries; one...
Kesler’s Rehab Slowed, Months Away From Playing
from Ben Kuzma of the Vancouver Province,
Ryan Kesler's return from offseason shoulder and wrist surgeries has been pushed back several months, according to his agent. The Vancouver Canucks beg to differ on the extent of that timeline provided by Kurt Overhardt, but it's not a stretch for anyone to suggest that the centre won't be back next month as forecasted earlier...
Canucks Kesler out six months after Labrum Surgery
We found out Tuesday that Vancouver Canucks Center Ryan Kesler had "Successful" shoulder surgery on a torn labum in his shoulder.
This was announced by the Canucks on Tuesday. It's also reported he'll need six months to recover.
The expected return date with this type of rehab would put him around a mid-November 2012 return to the club.
