(Video) Taylor Pyatt boards Johnny Boychuck
New York Rangers forward Taylor Pyatt was giving a two minute minor for boarding for this hit on Boston Bruins defenseman Johnny Boychuck. This hit ramped the game up for both teams. It's interesting to see how some classify the hit.

Pyatt, Callahan among most disciplined Rangers

It’s always interesting looking at the penalty statistics each season, and this year is no different. PIMs are a bit misleading, as there’s no real difference between someone who takes undisciplined stick penalties and some heat of the moment roughing/fighting penalties. Ok, fights are easily tracked, but the minor penalties aren’t in the PIMs...
Despite goal, Pyatt still needs to find consistency

When Taylor Pyatt was signed, he was brought in to help replace the departed combination of Ruslan Fedotenko, Brandon Prust, John Mitchell, Brandon Dubinsky, and Artem Anisimov. In those departed five players, the Rangers lost a lot of depth, but more importantly players capable of eating big minutes against tough competition. Suffice it to say, he hasn’t lived...
The Demise of Taylor Pyatt Has Been Greatly Exaggerated
The start of Taylor Pyatt's Rangers career couldn't have gone better. Three goals and two assists in his first eight games and a spot on the first line alongside Brad Richards and Marian Gaborik.
But that was as good as it got for Pyatt as he tallied just one point (a goal) in the next 34 games and found himself buried on the fourth line barely playing five minutes a...
Pyatt another savy addition by Sather
Pyatt has proven to be a nice addition so far by Glen Sather
Strike up another successful acquisition by Glen Sather. Taylor Pyatt –all 6’4 and 230 lbs of him– has proven to be a solid add to the Rangers, even though we’re still too early in the year to make significant conclusions. While Sather goes about adding integral pieces to roster like Rick Nash and Brad Richards...
Video: Taylor Pyatt’s Goal Against Philadelphia
… Pyatt is doing all the right things for this Rangers club out on the ice. He is attacking the puck from both sides of the ice and as you can see from last night’s goal, he is getting in front of the net and breaking off at the right time to take a nice [...]
Taylor Pyatt Discusses Signing With Rangers, Tortorella
Newly signed Taylor Pyatt has been on a few teams that made deep runs in the playoffs, and while he does admit that the Rangers were able to offer a more secure contract than the Coyotes, stuck in ownership limbo, were able to, it's clear that the state of the Rangers' organization also played a tremendous factor. As he told The Chronicle Journal, this might be his chance...
Getting to know Taylor Pyatt
When the Rangers inked Taylor Pyatt to a two-year deal last night, there were more quizzical expressions than when the Rangers signed Arron Asham. The signing of Pyatt likely means that Ruslan Fedotenko is done in New York, like the way Asham’s signing meant Brandon Prust was done in New York. The swapping of bottom-six players isn’t all that uncommon, as players bolt for paydays...
