Via Larry Brown Sports: Jet Strip in Lennox, Ca. calls itself “LA’s Friendliest Gentlemen’s Club,” and is proving that tagline is based on reality.
The strip club is one of a few organizations that donated money to help a local Little League remain afloat for the current season.
Lennox Little League, situated nearby Los Angeles International Airport, has been dealing with severe financial issues. They’re in a low-income area and even offer a payment plan for the $85 annual per player fee.
One of their problems is that the K-8 Lennox School District owns the Little League fields and is now charging them double to have a security guard watch the fields ($300 per weekend instead of $150). Lennox had a lackluster Opening Day due to financial constraints, and issues between the league and school district delayed the start of the season by three weeks.
