With something as serious as this, you would think that the Buffalo Bills official website would be just a bit more careful when publishing this tory. The Buffalo Bills announced head coach Doug Marrone does/did have a cancerous mole on his skin and it has since been removed.

Albert Pujols became the 26th MLBer to ever hit 500 home runs after he went yard twice against the Washington Nationals on Tuesday. Unfortunately for one fan sitting right where Pujols’ milestone ball went, he dropped the ball and another guy ended up a happy man:
Here’s the ball:

Jimmy Fallon started the NHL Playoff Superlatives a few years back and has carried the segment with him to the Tonight Show. The 2014 edition of the superlatives is pretty funny and extremely accurate. The only real drawback is that it’s a short segment.

Los Angeles Kings forward Marian Gaborik hasn’t been as great as they had hoped since acquiring him at the trade deadline. During Game 3 against the San Jose Sharks, Gaborik showed everyone why they acquired him. This was a fantastic individual effort and the backhand shot was just outstanding.

The Tampa Bay Lightning were in desperation mode in Game 4 against the Montreal Canadiens and just started throwing pucks on net. Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman was behind the net when he threw the puck off of Carey Price’s back and into the net. It ended up being all for naught as Montreal went on to win 4-3 and swept the Lightning 4-0.

Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand took a knee from Detroit Red Wings Brendan Smith during the second period on Tuesday night. Marchand’s left knee was hit, but when he went down, he grabbed his right knee. Marchand only missed a shift and appeared to be just fine, for obvious reasons.

Boston Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask almost got hit with an octopus before game 3 against the Detroit Red Wings. The octopus clearly didn’t phase Tuukka, who pitched a shutout against the Wings.

New York Rangers forward Daniel Carcillo scored a goal halfway through the 3rd period to put the game out of reach and had an epic celebration. He faced the Philadelphia Flyers fans and proceeded to talk some smack to the guy giving him the double birds. This might be the GIF of the playoffs.
Really looking forward to @NHL working this into an ad with tinkly music. pic.twitter.com...
I guess when you sit courtside at a basketball game, you want to look as good as possible. During Game 2 of the Brooklyn Nets-Toronto Raptors series, Drake was spotted vigorously lint rolling his pants. Why he brought a lint roller to an NBA game is utterly beyond me.

Anaheim Ducks defenseman Stephane Robidas was making his return to Dallas for the first time since being traded and it didn’t go well. He broke his leg above the rod that was put in where he had previously broken it.

Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but on Monday new football uniforms were unveiled. This time the Arkansas Razorbacks unveiled their newly rebranded jerseys. Nothing too ground breaking or different, just a real solid look. The numbers are clean and the sleeves are a cool, new style. Now if only they could get a football team to match.
Tough enough to thrive in any era. A...
This is one of the most ridiculous shots you will ever see. Trailing late, Kevin Durant hit this miracle shot and was fouled by Marc Gasol for a four-point play and to help force overtime in Game two. Memphis would go on to win the game, but this was unbelievable.

Russell Westbrook absolutely brought down the house on Monday night in the NBA Playoffs against the Grizzlies. Earlier in the game, he had a great dunk that got waived off, so he was on a mission to throw it down again. It’s incredible how quickly he broke away from Mike Conley after catching the bounce pass from Thabo Sefolosha. [@SBNationGIF] The post Russell Westbrook Throws...
Mikael Granlund had zero career playoff goals coming into Game 3 of the Wild vs. Avalanche series, but that would all change on Monday night. Just five minutes into overtime, the Finnish forward picked up the puck, weaved in and out of three Colorado players right through the middle of the house, and then beat Semyon Varlamov while falling down.

Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Patrick Corbin is out for the season after undergoing surgery to repair a torn UCL, but he’s still a fan favorite among D-Backs fans. The problem is, though, that most of them don’t know what he looks like. As Matt Harvey did last summer in Central Park, watch these funny interactions between Corbin and fans.

The Chicago Blackhawks-St. Louis Blues series has been pretty nasty, but the hit Brent Seabrook put on David Backes is going to make it even worse. After the hit, NBC mics picked up someone on the Blackhawks saying, “Wakey wakey, Backes. Wakey wakey.” Based on this video, it appears that Duncan Keith is the man who said it. Seabrook has been suspended 3 games for his hit and...
The Trail Blazers stole game one of their NBA Playoffs series in Houston on Sunday night in an overtime thriller, 122-120. During the game, Portland center Robin Lopez received a technical foul after looking at Dwight Howard creepily:
After the play, the Rockets’ Twitter account poked fun at Lopez, posting this:

Carlos Gomez hit a triple on Sunday afternoon and then watched his hit like it was a home run, flipping his bat. Pirates pitcher Gerritt Cole took exception to this, following him around the bases until Gomez slid into third base safe. The benches then cleared and punches were thrown, including Milwaukee’s Martin Maldonado sticking Pittsburgh’s Travis Snider right in the face...

Congrats Jeremy Lin, your play was just nominated for fail of the year and is sure to appear on ‘Shaqtin’ A Fool’ on NBATV!
Lin, who is 6’3”, was being guarded by 6’8” Nicolas Batum at the time, so he thought he had to fade away from the basket to get a good shot off. Here’s the problem though – you can’t make a shot if it goes over the backboard.
The Tampa Bay Lightning scored a goal that looked to be the go-ahead goal for them but the goal was somehow waived off. The referee initially said the contact between Alex Killorn and Carey Price was okay, but then he changed his mind and waived off the goal. It’s a terrible break for Tampa Bay, especially considering Steven Stamkos was hurt a few minutes later and then Montreal...
The Montreal Canadiens always have a cool pre-game ceremony, but this year, they stepped up their game for the playoffs. This 3-D style pre-game show that has been used by the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Halifax Mooseheads, but this is the first time it’s happened in the NHL. The Canadiens show will be tough to top; the highlights from their prestigious history are awesome.
