Sam Stosur WIMBLEDON – No. 5 seed Sam Stosur fell to No. 72 Arantxa Rus of the Netherlands in the second round at Wimbledon on Wednesday 6-2, 0-6, 6-4. With Stosur’s loss, all of the Australian singles players have been eliminated from the tournament. Stosur has never done well at the All England Club. Her best performance in 10 tries has been reaching the third round in 2009. “This year I hated it  a little bit less than the previous years,” Stosur said of the grass.  “It’s just disappointing because you want to do well here.  It’s a great tournament.  I still love playing here at Wimbledon, but obviously it hasn’t been my very best tournament.” “Before the match I knew she’s not a great grass player,” Rus said. “But me also not.” “I believe before the match that I could win.” For Rus, this marks this marks the second time she has upset a top ten seed in a major. Last year she defeated Kim Clijsters at the French Open. “I remember the other match,” Rus reflected.  “
