Zakopalova makes Czechs for Fed Cup semi at Italy
The defending champion Czech Republic has added Klara Zakopalova for the Fed Cup semifinal against Italy next week.
Captain Petr Pala says Zakopalova will vie for the singles berths with Petra Kvitova and Lucie Safarova.

(January 4, 2012) China’s Li Na, the top seed and fifth seed Klara Zakopalova of the Czech Republic moved into the final of the Shenzhen tournament on Friday.
In an all-Chinese semifinal No. 7 Li defeated Peng Shuai 6-4, 6-0. Zakopalova knocked out Monica Niculescu of Romania 6-1, 6-3.
The Shenzhen Open is being played for the first time this year.
