The United States fell to its second straight defeat at the Team World Cup on Tuesday, while Serbia posted its second victory in two matches.
The Czech Republic's Tomas Berdych and Radek Stepanek both won their singles in straight sets against the Americans. Berdych fired 12 aces in defeating Andy Roddick 6-1, 6-2 and Stepanek routed James Blake 6-2, 6-1.

Berdych, Stepanek to face Serbia
The Czech Republic will use the same team that beat Italy in the Davis Cup when it faces Serbia in next month's quarterfinal.
The No. 7-ranked Tomas Berdych will lead the team again along with his traditional partner Radek Stepanek, ranked 25th.
Berdych has struggled recently, losing to Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 at the Sony Ericsson Open on Sunday.

Kvitova, Stepanek to play Olympic mixed doubles
Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova will team with countryman Radek Stepanek to play mixed doubles at the London Olympics.
Kvitova also considered Tomas Berdych as a partner before making her announcement Friday.

Berdych, Stepanek to face Italy in Davis Cup
Australian Open quarterfinalist Tomas Berdych and doubles winner Radek Stepanek will lead the Czech Republic against Italy in next week's first round of the Davis Cup in Ostrava.
