Via Larry Brown Sports:

Shaquille O’Neal has found a way to gain some more attention. This time, it may actually be entertaining. The day we have all been waiting for is finally going to come. On April 1 in Miami, Shaq will be climbing into the ring during the world’s most prestigious wrestling event at WrestleMania 28.
On Sunday, HollywoodLife.com confirmed the rumors that Shaq will be putting his 7-foot-1, 300-plus pound frame on the line: “Yes, I’ll be there!” Shaq reportedly said when asked about the rumors. He wouldn’t say who he is fighting, but it is believed that he will be taking on The Big Show, who is roughly the same height as Big Daddy Diesel but has about 100 pounds on him.
Between wearing pink underwear on late-night TV shows and attempting to dunk off of tiny trampolines, we can’t help but get the impression Shaq has only just begun his post-retirement assault on the universe. Something tells me he’s going to enjoy life after basketball more than he enjoyed winning all those championship rings.

Shaq couldnt play for the Celtics as he was always hurt. But he can get into the ring and wrestle. Makes alot of sense. Celtics ought to ask for some of his contract money back. I would.

u would ask for the money back ,because u aint got it.They got it so why bother.

Though "professional" wrestling is considered a joke by collegiate and Olympics style wrestlers, Shaq will find out how really out of shape he is. Too bad it isn't big mouth Charles Barkley willing to step into the ring. Even I, who at 5'8" and 155lbs and 60 years young could kick his ass. I'd even put money of my own up just to do it. Talk about someone whose a disgrace, CB eats the cake. Fat a**!
