Iowa women's basketball upsets No. 10 Iowa State in massive rivalry win

The CyHawk rivalry is one of the most heated in college sports. It may not get the press that Michigan versus Ohio State does or even Auburn versus Alabama on the gridiron, but the Iowa Hawkeyes and Iowa State Cyclones sure don't like each other all that much.

Patrick Mahomes' foundation donated more than $400,000 in grants to over 25 Kansas City charities

Not only is Mahomes a perennial MVP candidate, but with all this in mind, it should be no surprise that the quarterback is also in the running for another prestigious NFL award: Walter Peyton Man of the Year.

Jimbo Fisher just stole a top recruit from Louisville even after Jeff Brohm hiring

The good news for the Lousiville Cardinals is that they didn't have to wait long to replace Scott Satterfield. The bad news for Louisville is even the hiring of new HC Jeff Brohm couldn't keep 5-star 2023 running back Rueben Owens from de-committing and going elsewhere.

Florida Gators land elite 2024 five-star QB recruit DJ Lagway

The Florida Gators aren't yet back to the level they enjoyed under Urban Meyer and in the height of the Tim Tebow years, but Billy Napier did some nice things in his first season as head coach and he just got himself a huge win on the recruiting trial.

Watch: Tom Brady tried to recruit Aaron Judge to play tight end for Buccaneers

It's fun to think about a potential Brady-to-Judge connection. We know Judge can bash home runs, but with his size and athleticism, he'd probably be a good NFL tight end as well.

Packers GM doesn't sound like he needs to evaluate Jordan Love further in 2022

The Green Bay Packers aren't technically eliminated from playoff contention, and thus, Aaron Rodgers will continue to be the starter. This is despite his ailing ribs and a broken thumb, of course. This is also despite the fact that his backup, Jordan Love, looked pretty darn good in relief action a few weeks ago.

It's time to put some respect on Christian Watson's name

Watson has been playing so well that he's making a strong case for being considered the NFL's offensive rookie of the year. With a few more strong weeks he very well could beat out the likes of Chris Olave (New Orleans Saints), Kenneth Walker III (Seattle Seahawks), and Garrett Wilson (New York Jets).

Watch: Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin screams at fan before game: 'Man, I'm f***** working'
