Nick Arnold || Brock Davis The Duke Chronicle’s next two player profiles are up, and these are of Jacob Theodosiou and Maxime Meyer. Meyer is a Canadian who was rated a 4-star prospect, for what it’s worth.
The latest new Blue Devil profiled by the Duke Chronicle is Loyola-Maryland transfer Jacob Theodosiou. A 6-4 native of Canada, he has moved around a bit, playing for Wyoming before Loyola, and now of course, he’ll finish at Duke.
Jacob Theodosiou revealed his commitment to fifth-year Duke basketball head coach Jon Scheyer and the Blue Devils back in early May. And the senior transfer from the Loyola Greyhounds has already been on campus in Durham, as he was on hand for the 2026-27 squad's first official summer workout this past weekend.
The DBR Podcast is back with a look at what is (maybe? probably?) the last roster move for the Blue Devils this off-season, the addition of Jacob Theodosiou from Loyola Maryland.
North Carolina recently fired head men's basketball coach Hubert Davis, ending a five-year run in which he struggled to keep the program at the heights of its lofty expectations.
As we’ve seen in the last few years, Duke coach Jon Scheyer tends to use the portal strategically. He gets the occasional critical piece, like John Blackwell or (almost) Cedric Coward, but he also looks for the right guys to finish things up.
As Jon Scheyer and the Duke Blue Devils look to finalize their rotational roster, the staff has also placed emphasis on replenishing the developmental depth that quietly supported last season’s core.
