Syracuse quarterback Garrett Shrader will not play in Thursday's Boca Raton Bowl for the Orange, the program announced on Monday. Shrader had surgery to repair a torn shoulder that he has dealt with since October. "It was important for me to get our team to a bowl game," Shrader said in a statement.
Today's matchup between fifth-ranked Clemson and No. 14 Syracuse is a battle of unbeaten ACC foes. The home-standing Tigers are favored by two touchdowns. And that's a big factor for the King of Props' play for Saturday.
