Blake Shelton jokes about his and Gwen Stefani's first dance song at their wedding

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are keeping their wedding specifics under wraps, but Jimmy Fallon seems to have maybe gotten one small detail out of Shelton—though with Shelton, you can never be sure what's serious and what's sarcasm—during Wednesday's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Fallon asked the 44-year-old country star and The Voice coach what their first-dance song will be. At first, Shelton said the "Wedding March," which is obviously used for the bride-to-be to walk down the aisle and not at all for anyone to dance to.

"Not that song!" Fallon interrupted. "Not the procession—no, no. I want at the reception, you come out of a fog machine. It goes all—[makes whooshing sounds—like, 'Here he is! Mr. and Mrs. Blake Shelton. [Beat-boxing noises]. And then, 'Now, time for the first dance. The couple's first dance. And then what do we hear?"

Shelton responded correctly this time: "It's 'If You Leave' from the Pretty in Pink soundtrack."

Fallon was still rightfully skeptical, but Shelton insisted that he was serious and showed that he was looking for it on his phone. "We talked about this," he added. "We both love the song. We're both fans of the '80s. Why not?"

It would seem from the outside looking in that it would be easier for Shelton and Stefani to have their first married dance together to their duet "Nobody But You." The dynamic duo have also put out "Happy Anywhere," included on Shelton's 12th studio album Body Language (out tomorrow), that fits the occasion, but whatever. What do I—contrastingly a very single and not-famous person—know?

Shelton and Stefani initially got together in late 2015 following their respective divorces. At the time, they were both coaches on The Voice. Their aspirational relationship turned into engagement last October, which Stefani dished on late last month with Late Night with Seth Meyers :
