Carrie Fisher's daughter, Billie Lourd, remembers her on fifth anniversary of death

Carrie Fisher died exactly five years ago Monday (Dec. 27) at 60 years old.

Billie Lourd, Fisher's daughter, was the one to publicly confirm her death at the time, and now, the 29-year-old is commemorating her mother's death with two moving Instagram posts.

The first, posted Sunday (Dec. 26), was a throwback photo of Fisher and Lourd with a koala:

The second came this afternoon, and it is a beautiful video of Lourd singing "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac alongside Kaitlyn and Mady Dever:

Billie is Fisher's only child. The Star Wars icon welcomed her with talent agent Bryan Lourd in July 1992.

Billie welcomed her first child, Kingston Fisher Lourd Rydell, with fiancé Austen Rydell in September 2020.
