Pop star Taylor Swift reportedly had a long list of celebrity A-list friends that she invited to sit with her in her suite at the Superdome in New Orleans for Super Bowl 59 on Sunday.
However, two of those friends are passing on the invite.
Among the group of Hollywood stars and fellow singer/songwriters expected to join Swift are singer/actress Selena Gomez and her fiancée Benny Blanco, actress Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, singers Sabrina Carpenter and Ice Spice, and several others.
But two people who won’t be taking Swift up on her offer enjoy the game from her suite is actor Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh.
In an exclusive interview with People.com, Teller disclosed that although he and his wife, who are both Philadelphia Eagles fans, sat with Swift during KC’s 25-22 overtime win over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 58 last year, they’ll be sitting in enemy territory rooting against Kelce and the Chiefs.
“Thankfully, when I was at the Chiefs' last Super Bowl, they weren't playing the Eagles,” Teller said. ‘But this year, I'm going to be in a sea of green. … [Keleigh is] a diehard Birds fan. … She might be a Southern California girl, but you marry into Philadelphia sports and that is it.”
Teller and his wife were just a few of the contingency of celebs that sat with Swift at last year’s Super Bowl — a list that included Kelce’s brother Jason, Lively, Ice Spice, Lana Del Ray, and Ashley Avignone.
Swift is expected to have two more adversaries on game day in close friend Gigi Hadid and her boyfriend Bradley Cooper, who are both Eagles fans as well. It’s unlikely the couple will sit in Swift’s pro-Chiefs suite.
Jason and his wife Kylie will also be in attendance for the big game. Both have admitted that while they’ll be rooting for Travis to have a good game, they both are rooting for an Eagles victory, although their three girls will be wearing “Go Uncle Trav” shirts.
