Watch Henry Cavill gun down a room of Nazis in this exclusive clip from The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
Shared with Men’s Journal by Lionsgate to celebrate the film’s digital release on premium video on demand from May 10, we see the ex-Superman in full-on revenge mode.
In the clip, called Saving Alex from the Nazis , there’s also a snippet of director Guy Ritchie taking actors through a scene in his own unique style: “You two this way, us two this way, get busy with the fizzy.”
It’s one of actor Henry Golding’s favourite sequences in the entire film. As he says during the clip, “It’s one of our first missions, and that’s to extract Appleyard from a Nazi camp. They’re the ones who would walk brazenly, in full daylight, into a Nazi camp. And that’s what we did.”
Based on the true story of the first special forces mission in history, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is an action-comedy following a top-secret combat unit who embark on daring mission against the Nazis. They went on to lay the foundation for the British SAS and modern black ops warfare.
The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare is available now on digital to rent or own. It costs $24.99 to buy, or $19.99 to rent for 48 hours. Participating digital platforms include Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play, and Vudu.
