John Stamos opens up about wife and 3-year-old son: 'My dreams came true 100 times over'

"I always wanted to have kids, but I didn't think I'd meet the right person," Stamos said in the accompanying cover story. "And maybe I felt like well, I have everything, I shouldn't be greedy."

The 57-year-old actor first met his now-wife, Caitlin, while shooting a 2011 episode of Law & Order: SVU, but he wasn't officially romantically linked to the 35-year-old actress and model until 2016. They married in February 2018, and Billy was born that April.

"Six years ago, I sobered up and I became a better person," Stamos said. "And when Caitlin came around, I recognized it immediately. I said, 'I have to be good for that to make it work.'"

The Big Shot star added: "My dreams came true 100 times over."
