Lady Gaga is acting in the second season of "Wednesday," which will hit Netflix later this year (and which has already netted a third season from the streamer). To the surprise of nobody, Gaga will also have a song in the second season, with a video for the song being released around the same time. Synergy!
The song in question is called "Dead Dance," which is befitting a show like "Wednesday." Gaga's presence is also befitting a show like "Wednesday," at least when she is in a certain mode. Gaga is either a chameleon or an empty vessel who blows in the wind in whatever direction behooves her professionally, depending on your feelings about her.
Gaga wasn't at the premiere screening of "Wednesday" season two, as she is still on her tour supporting her most-recent album "Mayhem." Given the likely overlap between Gaga's so-called "Little Monsters" and "Wednesday" fans, one assumes "Dead Dance" will go over like gangbusters. It certainly is better than Rihanna's "Smurfs" song.
