Matthew McConaughey Pulled Classy Move On Sideline At Cotton Bowl

Not even a heated playoff game between Ohio State and Texas can stop Matthew McConaughey from being a class act.

McConaughey is at AT&T Stadium tonight to witness the Cotton Bowl. Obviously, he's hoping his Longhorns can take down the Buckeyes and punch their ticket to the national championship game. With that being said, he won't let his dreams of watching Texas win it all impact how he behaves on the team's sideline.

During the first half of the Cotton Bowl, the "Interstellar" actor was seen greeting each member of The Ohio State University Marching and Athletic Bands. It was a pretty cool move on his part.

Dave Holmes of ABC 6 shared a video of McConaughey showing love to Ohio State's marching band. If we had to guess, that's a moment some band members will never forget.

Unsurprisingly, football fans loved this gesture from McConaughey.

"He a standup guy, no one can deny THE best Band in the land," one fan tweeted.

Another person wrote, "Literally my role model."

"All right, all right, all right," a third fan said in reference to McConaughey's iconic phrase.

McConaughey will most likely go viral a few more times during tonight's Cotton Bowl Classic. And if Texas wins the game, he might just break out into a dance.

For now, McConaughey will anxiously watch the Longhorns try to even up the score against the Buckeyes.

The Cotton Bowl is being televised on ESPN. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit are on the call.
