Miley Cyrus teases Pete Davidson about Kim Kardashian romance while performing 'It Should Have Been Me'

If Thursday's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" was any indication, we're in for a treat with "Miley's New Year's Eve Party."

The NBC special will be cohosted by Cyrus and Davidson, and their appearance on Fallon was capped by Cyrus covering "It Should Have Been Me" and expertly teasing Davidson over his rumored romance with Kim Kardashian in the process.

"Pete Davidson, this song is for you," the 29-year-old star said before performing with The Roots. "When I saw those photos, this is what I played."

And if anybody wasn't clued into which photos exactly Cyrus was referring to, she made it explicitly clear later in the song, "Pete Davidson, how are you gonna do this to me? / Oh, oh yeah, it should've been me / In that Lamborghini leaving that nice-a-- restaurant."

Davidson, 28, and Kardashian, 41, have been sparking speculation since the SKIMS founder hosted "Saturday Night Live" in early October. They were seen holding hands on a roller coaster over Halloween weekend, and went on at least two dinner dates the following week.

Around Davidson's birthday, on Nov. 16, Kardashian threw a party for him at mom Kris Jenner's home in Palm Springs, Calif.

Kardashian filed from divorce from Kanye West — now legally known as Ye — in February, though West refuses to believe it's really over. They share four children.
