Prime Video shares new 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' teaser featuring two different Taylor Swift songs

The first teaser for the third and final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty is finally here, and it's a good one. While "Daylight" from Taylor Swift's Lover is playing in the background, we get a real look at Belly and Jeremiah's relationship. However, the tone and music suddenly change towards the end to "Red (Taylor’s Version)" from Swift's Red (Taylor’s Version) when Conrad appears at the door, opened by Belly, speaking the first words of the teaser: "Hey."

It’s the end of her junior year of college, and Belly’s looking forward to another summer in Cousins with her soulmate, Jeremiah. Her future seems set, until some core-shaking events bring her first love Conrad back into her life. Now on the brink of adulthood, Belly finds herself at a crossroads and must decide which brother has her heart. Summer will never be the same…

The Summer I Turned Pretty stars Lola Tung, Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Sean Kaufman, Rain Spencer, Jackie Chung, and Rachel Blanchard.

The Amazon Original series is based on the book trilogy from Jenny Han, who serves as a showrunner and executive producer along with Sarah Kucserka.

The Summer I Turned Pretty is a multigenerational drama that hinges on a love triangle between one girl and two brothers, the ever-evolving relationship between mothers and their children, and the enduring power of strong female friendship. It is a coming-of-age story about first love, first heartbreak, and the magic of that one perfect summer.

Season one debuted back in summer 2022 and became the #1 show on Prime Video during its premiere weekend. Season two came out in summer 2023 and more than doubled the first season's viewership within three days of debut.

Prime Video recently also revealed a new trio with the love triangle.

The 11-episode third season will premiere on Wednesday, July 16.
