Star Wars: Dawn Of The Jedi certainly won’t be lacking in the writing department if its latest recruit is anything to go by.
The upcoming Star Wars film has appointed Beau Willimon as one of its main writers. Willimon is a fan-favorite, earning widespread recognition for his work on critically acclaimed 2022 Star Wars series Andor.
Willimon joins director/writer James Mangold, who helmed Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny . Seeing as Mangold currently has his hands full developing Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown, which stars Timothee Chalamet, it seems Willimon may be taking the lead on things for the time being.
Star Wars: Dawn Of The Jedi is in pre-production right now. If production kicks off in 2025, that points to a 2026 release date at the earliest. Disney will be keen not to step on the toes of another Star Wars film that’s already confirmed for 2026, The Mandalorian & Grogu.
As for the Andor season 2 release date: when is the best Star Wars series getting a second season?
