Dan Haren is doing what he can to help brighten peoples’ days while many are at home during the coronavirus pandemic. That included sharing an old video on social media Thursday of a prank he and his teammates pulled on Juan Uribe years ago.
Back in 2014, Haren and Uribe were teammates on the Los Angeles Dodgers. According to Haren, the team was in Cincinnati and pranked Uribe by placing a live snake in his shoe.
I’m trying to make people smile.

The reaction was classic.
Can you blame him? I’m terrified of snakes too and would have freaked out just the same.
We actually posted this video when it happened in 2014. Hanley Ramirez said he was the one who put the snake in Uribe’s show, but he deleted the video. It’s nice to have it back on the internet.
