No MLB team is more aggrieved by the Houston Astros news than perhaps the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Dodgers lost the World Series to Houston in seven games in 2017. Yu Darvish was knocked out of both his starts early by Houston, including in Game 7, and was never satisfied by the Astros’ assertion that he was tipping pitches.

On Monday, MLB announced its punishment of the Houston Astros and said in its findings that the Astros cheated not only during the 2017 regular season, but also throughout the postseason. Given how close the Dodgers were to winning their first World Series since 1988, losing to a team that cheated is particularly hurtful.

The team issued a statement on Monday evening in which they said MLB told teams not to comment on the discipline handed out to the Astros.

The Dodgers aren’t speaking on the matter as a team, leaving us to look to the words of Cody Bellinger and even Yu Darvish himself for the feelings of the players.

There is little doubt the players feel chapped over what happened, and we know fans are still fuming.
