This unfortunate incident was reported by 'Le Parisien' on September 4. According to the report, intruders forcibly entered Gane's residence and made off with a Rolex watch and several items of jewelry, with an estimated total value of 150,000 euros.

It is believed that this could have been a deliberate, targeted crime, timed to coincide with Gane's absence. This is a common practice for criminals who usually target wealthy football players.

As for an investigation into the matter, traces and clues have reportedly been found, and a neighborhood survey may help identify the criminals responsible.

Given the well-coordinated nature of the crime, authorities may explore the possibility of someone within Gane's inner circle having potentially tipped off the criminals.

Gane hasn't posted any updates on social media, but we can only hope that those responsible are apprehended, and he can recover from this distressing situation. There are few things that could dampen the joy of winning a UFC main event in front of a hometown audience, but this incident comes pretty close.
