As the Boston Celtics search for upgrades this offseason, it appears they are the betting favorite to land one disgruntled NBA star.
According to BetOnline.ag, the Celtics have the best odds to land Dallas Mavericks big man Kristaps Porzingis if traded at +200. The Golden State Warriors are second at +225.

The Mavericks acquired Porzingis from the New York Knicks in 2019. He had a rather disappointing postseason this year, averaging a mere 13.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
After the Mavs first-round series exit, it was reported that Porzingis often feels like an "afterthought" to Luka Doncic and has been "frustrated" that he's not seen as a co-star to the Slovenian, which sparked trade rumors.
Mavericks owner Mark Cuban even admitted that Porzingis and Doncic are not friends off the court. If Dallas is forced to choose between one or the other, they'll more than likely pick Doncic, who is set to sign a max extension with the franchise.
The Celtics are an obvious choice for Porzingis as they're thin up front. Swapping Kemba Walker and Porzingis would also make sense for both sides. However, the C's would then have to add a point guard.
Boston has been linked to both Bradley Beal and Damian Lillard. A move for either player would have to include either Jayson Tatum or Jaylen Brown and multiple first-round picks. The Celtics have the third-best odds to land Beal and sixth-best to nab Lillard.
