Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones has been Aaron Rodgers' teammate for the past six years. Jones may have some insight on what the quarterback may do this offseason.
On Thursday, Jones appeared on the NFL Network to discuss the past season as well as the Super Bowl. Among the topics was where Rodgers would be playing next season as rumors continue to swirl.
And Jones offered up this answer.
Aaron Jones just now on @nflnetwork: “I think [Aaron Rodgers] will be back. I hope he’s back — he’s our leader. He’s a great player and he’s been there forever so I hope he’s back; I enjoy playing with him.”

Jones’ comments might be hope or he might know something. As we've learned with Rodgers' drama over the past couple of years, anything can happen. The rumors will also continue to fly until Rodgers comes out and clears the air himself.
A decision doesn’t seem like it’s coming this week, as Rodgers will head on a four-day "darkness retreat" to clear his mind. And then after that, it’s likely we will get our answer.
