Jeremy Sprinkle has signed with the Dallas Cowboys after spending four seasons with the Washington Football Team. The tight end used Twitter to thank the only franchise he has played for.
I want to thank @WashingtonNFL for everything they’ve done for me & giving me a chance to live my dream for the last 4 years. The memories I made there will stick with me forever and I’m forever grateful they allowed me to be a part of their organization.

Washington drafted Sprinkle in the fifth round of the 2017 draft. Sprinkle played in 59 games, starting in 33. Primarly a blocking tight end, Sprinkle ddn’t have many opportunities to catch the football in Washington. He had just 34 catches 301 yards and three touchdowns in four years.
His stats doesn’t wow many onlookers. However, his contribution, particularly in blocking and special teams has been his calling card in the NFL.
Now, he will get to compete inside the Cowboys tight end room. Looking to make the roster competing with Dalon Schultz, Blake Jarwin, and Sean McKeon.
Meanwhile in Washington, the team is looking to reshuffle its tight end room. They’re searching for a viable complement to Logan Thomas as the No. 2 tight end. They’ll look to the draft after not addressing the position in free agency.
