The Green Bay Packers are starting to heal from injuries, but they’re not healthy before their Week 12 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Aaron Rodgers said on the Pat McAfee Show Tuesday about his plans for Thanksgiving. He said he planned to go to kicker Mason Crosby’s house to enjoy and judge dinner.
One problem, Crosby is sick. According to Ryan Wood with USA Today, the Packers have five players listed with an illness. Crosby and wide receiver Randall Cobb are two of them. Head coach Matt LaFleur said the situation was similar to one the Packers had in 2019. It could affect the game if players are out with the flu.
“We’ve been testing them for everything, and if they have the flu, we’re keeping them out.”
Matt LaFleur says rash of illnesses on roster is "very similar to" late in 2019. Five #Packers players were listed with illness yesterday, including Mason Crosby, Randall Cobb. "We've been testing them for everything, and if they have the flu, we're keeping them out."

The flu hit the Packers hard during the 2019 season. The team had several players affected before their Divisional round playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks, though the Packers would go on to win that game. They must hope the illnesses won’t affect their game against the Eagles. The 4-7 Packers need to beat the Eagles to stay in the playoff hunt.
Hopefully, the players that are ill can get better. More importantly, for the outcome, Packers fans should hope it doesn’t continue to spread.
