The new player for every NFL team fans should look most forward to seeing in 2019

Part of the excitement of each new NFL season is seeing each team's new offseason acquisitions. With just over three months left until Week 1, here's a look at a new player on each team whom fans should look most forward to seeing in 2019.

1 of 32

Arizona Cardinals: Kyler Murray, QB

Cardinals fans should expect a much more exciting team this year with the addition of offensive mastermind Kliff Kingsbury and Heisman Trophy winner Murray at quarterback. Murray's combination of passing accuracy and mobility could be the best the NFL has seen in a while. There will be growing pains, but Murray should make up for it with plenty of exciting plays.

Atlanta Falcons: Chris Lindstrom, OG

The Falcons didn't make many big moves this offseason but did address their biggest need. The offensive line looks vastly improved with Lindstrom and fellow first-round pick Kaleb McGary. Lindstrom is a mauling guard who should help Devonta Freeman and Co. run the ball and also give Matt Ryan more time in the pocket.

Baltimore Ravens: Marquise Brown, WR

Brown was the flashiest wide receiver available in this year's draft, but a foot injury pushed him down to the second half of the first round. The speedster has the potential to be a home run threat, and while Baltimore's throws are few and far between, he could help prevent opposing defenses from loading the box against the Ravens offense.

Buffalo Bills: John Brown, WR

Brown is one of the premier deep threats in the NFL, and Josh Allen has arguably the strongest arm. That combination could give Bills fans the most offensive excitement they've had since Sammy Watkins was healthy and catching deep passes in Buffalo.

Carolina Panthers: Brian Burns, DE

The Panthers desperately needed a pass rusher, and Burns brings huge upside out of Florida State. Carolina is hoping he can make an immediate impact off the edge after taking him in the first round.

Chicago Bears: David Montgomery, RB

Chicago Bears: David Montgomery, RB

Jordan Howard wasn't a great fit for head coach Matt Nagy's offense, but Montgomery profiles as a more complete back for the Bears. The Iowa State alum will compete with Mike Davis for early-down work during the preseason and could add another dimension to the Bears offense if he wins the job.

7 of 32

Cincinnati Bengals: Trayveon Williams, RB

The Bengals drafted both Williams and Rodney Anderson in the sixth round, giving them excellent running back depth behind Joe Mixon and Giovani Bernard. Williams profiles well as a third-down back, showing great hands at Texas A&M and also finishing last season with more than 2,000 yards from scrimmage. Cincinnati won't need Williams early in his rookie season, but he could be a nice change of pace later in the year.

Cleveland Browns: Odell Beckham Jr., WR

The Cleveland offense had plenty of talent before it acquired Beckham from the Giants. A true star, Beckham's run-after-the-catch ability is elite, and he should make second-year quarterback Baker Mayfield that much better this season.

9 of 32

Dallas Cowboys: Randall Cobb, WR

Dallas Cowboys: Randall Cobb, WR

Dallas replaced slot receiver Cole Beasley with Cobb, a receiver who has shown more flash in the past. While Cobb's recent seasons have been injury-plagued, he does have more upside than Beasley and could find plenty of opportunities while opposing defenses focus on Amari Cooper and Ezekiel Elliott.

10 of 32

Denver Broncos: Drew Lock, QB

Joe Flacco is expected to begin the year as Denver's starting quarterback, but it won't be a surprise if Lock gets the job by the second half of the season. The second-round pick throws a beautiful deep ball and is certainly a bigger part of the Broncos long-term plans than Flacco.

11 of 32

Detroit Lions: T.J. Hockenson, TE

Detroit Lions: T.J. Hockenson, TE
Christopher Hanewinckel / USA Today Sports Images

The Lions dropped the ball when they allowed Eric Ebron to walk in free agency last offseason, but Hockenson has the potential to make Detroit fans forget about their departed tight end. He draws comparisons to Rob Gronkowski as a complete tight end who is gifted as both a pass catcher and blocker, and he has the potential to make an immediate impact this season.

Green Bay Packers: Darnell Savage, S

Christopher Hanewinckel / USA Today Sports Images

Green Bay loaded up on defense this offseason, and while the team made several impact moves in the front seven, Savage could make the clearest impact at safety. The first-round pick is a playmaker with excellent coverage skills and the ability to create turnovers in the secondary.

13 of 32

Houston Texans: Kahale Warring, TE

It could take some time for Warring to find the field, but he has the potential to be the tight end head coach Bill O'Brien has been searching for since he went to Houston. Warring didn't see much production in a run-heavy offense at San Diego State, but he has outstanding upside as a pass catcher. It wouldn't be a surprise to see Warring get regular snaps late in the year.

Indianapolis Colts: Justin Houston, OLB

This isn't the same player who led the league with 22 sacks in 2014, but Houston remains an impact player both as a pass rusher and against the run. He has a total of 18.5 sacks over the last two seasons and gives Indy the top pass rusher it needed this offseason.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Nick Foles, QB

Poor quarterback play has become synonymous with the Jaguars, as they've dealt with the likes of Blaine Gabbert, Chad Henne and Blake Bortles at quarterback since 2011. Foles is a proven veteran with the potential to make fans forget about the poor quarterback play and get their team back to the playoffs.

Kansas City Chiefs: Tyrann Mathieu, S

The defense prevented the Chiefs from winning their second-ever Super Bowl last year, and the safety play was particularly bad. Signing Mathieu was the first of several impact moves on defense this offseason. K.C. is counting on Mathieu to replace the oft-injured Eric Berry as the defensive leader and make big plays in the secondary, which could be the difference in the team's quest for its first Super Bowl in 50 years, with Patrick Mahomes leading an elite offense.

Los Angeles Chargers: Nasir Adderley, S

Last year the Chargers found a star in safety Derwin James and hope to have done the same with Adderley. A versatile second-round pick, Adderley has a chance to start immediately and create one of the most exciting safety duos in the league.

Los Angeles Rams: Eric Weddle, S

Weddle is nearing the end of his career, but we haven't seen much drop off from him. He moved from Baltimore to L.A. for the opportunity to play near his Southern California home and win a Super Bowl, and he creates more big-play ability for the Rams secondary alongside cornerbacks Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib.

19 of 32

Miami Dolphins: Josh Rosen, QB

The excitement for Dolphins fans should be measured with how poorly Rosen played in his rookie season in Arizona, but the UCLA alum is something different after Dolphins fans suffered through Ryan Tannehill and Jay Cutler in recent seasons. Miami will find out this season if Rosen can play at the NFL level. If he falters, the 2020 draft class is loaded at quarterback.

20 of 32

Minnesota Vikings: Irv Smith Jr., TE

Matthew Emmons / USA Today Sports Images

The drafting of Smith fueled speculation that Minnesota would trade longtime Viking Kyle Rudolph. That's still a possibility, as the team tries to find cap space. Smith might not be the threat Rudolph is in the red zone at 6-foot-2, but he was still an accomplished receiver at Alabama who should be an immediate option for Kirk Cousins.

New England Patriots: N'Keal Harry, WR

New England Patriots: N'Keal Harry, WR
Mark J. Rebilas / USA Today Sports Images

The loss of Rob Gronkowski will hurt the Patriots offense, but Harry has the potential to offset that loss. The first-round pick has flash and will see plenty of snaps in his rookie season after the Pats also lost Chris Hogan.

22 of 32

New Orleans Saints: Jared Cook, TE

New Orleans Saints: Jared Cook, TE
Kirby Lee / USA Today Sports Images

New Orleans has produced its share of highly productive tight ends during the Sean Payton/Drew Brees era, and Cook should be next. The athletic pass catcher is coming off a career year in Oakland and should help take attention away from No. 1 receiver Michael Thomas.

23 of 32

New York Giants: Daniel Jones, QB

Noah K. Murray / USA Today Sports Images

The selection of Jones sixth overall in the 2019 draft was almost universally panned, but the Giants don't present much to be excited about with their offseason additions. Nearing age 40, Eli Manning could give way to Jones if the Giants get off to a slow start this season.

24 of 32

New York Jets: Le'Veon Bell, RB

Aaron Doster / USA Today Sports Images

Adam Gase might not be crazy about the money New York spent to acquire Bell, but there's no doubt he makes the team better and makes Sam Darnold's job easier. Bell held out for all of the 2018 season so there could be some rust, but he's been one of the most dynamic running backs in the NFL for several years.

25 of 32

Oakland Raiders: Antonio Brown, WR

The Raiders are hoping Brown can jump start their offense after trading for him and giving up big money. While he can be a headache away from the field, there's no debating that Brown is still one of the league's biggest stars when he's playing.

26 of 32

Philadelphia Eagles: Miles Sanders, RB

Philadelphia Eagles: Miles Sanders, RB
Bill Streicher / USA Today Sports Images

The Eagles have been in search of a bell cow back for several years, and Sanders could be their answer. The former Penn State running back had more rushing yards last year than teammate Saquon Barkley did in 2017, and he shows the flash to win the running back job immediately.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Devin Bush, LB

Pittsburgh has struggled to stop the run since Ryan Shazier's catastrophic injury in 2017. Bush has a chance to be the answer for the team after it selected him in the first round. The former Michigan Wolverine has elite speed and should immediately step in as an every-down linebacker.

28 of 32

San Francisco 49ers: Deebo Samuel, WR

San Francisco 49ers: Deebo Samuel, WR
Kim Klement / USA Today Sports Images

The 49ers made several impact additions in the offseason, but Samuel could be the most exciting. He struggled to stay healthy in college, though he couldn't get the ball enough when he was healthy at South Carolina. Head coach Kyle Shanahan will find plenty of ways to get him the ball.

29 of 32

Seattle Seahawks: D.K. Metcalf, WR

Seattle Seahawks: D.K. Metcalf, WR
Matt Bush / USA Today Sports Images

Metcalf was the talk of the NFL Combine with his 40 time, and he couldn't have found a better destination than Seattle with Russell Wilson's outstanding deep ball. Following the retirement of Doug Baldwin, Metcalf has a chance to see regular snaps immediately.

30 of 32

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Devin White, LB

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Devin White, LB
Christopher Hanewinckel / USA Today Sports Images

While the Bucs lost Kwon Alexander in free agency, White should be a more than adequate replacement. The LSU alum has incredible speed and was a tackle machine in college. His early contribution will be key in new defensive coordinator Todd Bowles' defense.

31 of 32

Tennessee Titans: A.J. Brown, WR

Tennessee Titans: A.J. Brown, WR
Derick E. Hingle / USA Today Sports Images

The Titans passing game has been lacking in recent seasons, but they've addressed that area by signing slot receiver Adam Humphries and drafting Brown. A consistent contributor at Ole Miss over the last two seasons, Brown should make Marcus Mariota a more productive quarterback this season.

32 of 32

Washington Redskins: Dwayne Haskins, QB

Washington Redskins: Dwayne Haskins, QB
Geoff Burke / USA Today Sports Images

The loss of Alex Smith due to injury last season was a major blow, but Haskins has a chance to make Washington fans forget about that. The former Ohio State quarterback proved accurate in college and has a chance to beat out Case Keenum and Colt McCoy for the starting job at the beginning of the season.
