Bashaud Breeland last played in the NFL for the Minnesota Vikings in 2021, but his best year was with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he won the Super Bowl in 2019, playing alongside Patrick Mahomes.
Breeland suffered the concussion during last weekend's divisional-round matchup against the Cleveland Browns. He had six tackles and one pass defended before exiting.
Breeland faces charges of resisting arrest, having alcohol in a vehicle with a broken seal, having an open container of beer and wine in the vehicle, marijuana possession and driving without a license, according to police.
