There’s a guarantee of a certain amount of news based on the number of draft choices that the team you’re covering has, and you have a rough idea of when the news will come based on the draft order.
With the 208th pick, the Calgary Flames selected right-handed defenceman Jakob Leander out of HV71 in the Swedish National League. Leander is a rangy 6’4″, 200-pound defenceman who plays a stay-at-home style with little to no offensive production.
