Nebraska Baseball Catcher Selected in MLB Draft

Josh Caron aided Nebraska baseball to a Big Ten title this past spring. Now, his junior season helped push him into the Major Leagues. Caron, the junior catcher for the Huskers, was selected in the fourth round of the Major League Baseball draft on Monday afternoon by the Seattle Mariners.

Nebraska Baseball Edges Nicholls Friday

A good start to the home stand for Nebraska baseball. NU (11-5) slipped past Nicholls (17-4) 7-6 Friday night at Haymarket Park. The game was the first of eight straight to be played at home for the Big Red.
