Sharks sign former Rangers defenseman to one-year, two-way contract
Looking to add depth on the back end, the San Jose Sharks signed defenseman Libor Hajek to a one-year, two-way contract for the 2026-27 season, general manager Mike Grier announced Wednesday.

Penguins Organization Releases Defenseman from AHL Contract
Defenseman Libor Hajek has been released by the Pittsburgh Penguins organization after a few months of play in the American Hockey League. Hajek is a 25-year-old defenseman who joined the Penguins for training camp on a professional tryout contract and was later assigned to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
