AHL: Coachella Valley Firebirds Re-Sign Goaltender

The Coachella Valley Firebirds saw this morning that defenseman Maxime Lajoie was heading overseas. Following that news, they announced they are re-signing goalie Jack LaFontaine to a one-year AHL contract.

Today, Coachella Valley Firebirds defenseman Maxime Lajoie signed with Avangard Omsk of the KHL. Lajoie, this season in 70 games for the Firebirds, recorded 38 points on four goals and 34 assists.
